Kosmetik is excited to host SKY DEEP (berlin) who'll be performing a hybrid DJ and hardware set!!! Sky is a Berlin based music producer, DJ, musician, filmmaker and activist -- born in the USA. She has lived half her life in NYC and Los Angeles. Her sets, played throughout the US and Europe, keep dancers on their toes with House styles ranging from Deep and smooth to funky G-House to Breaks and Tech beats. She makes a musical journey from dark grinds to futuristic to wild with freak-sexy edge. With her early solo work being rooted in HipHop, her performances and tracks have been featured on VH1, NBC and UPN in the U.S. Sky Deep's music and performances are continually being featured in German and international media. As founder Reveller Records an electronic label she has released music from such artists as The Knife, Fever Ray, LIGHT ASYLUM, Paula Temple and Hyenaz. Sky Deep also created and curated the Reclaim the Beats Festival in Berlin - which advocates for the visibility of people of color and queer people in the music industry.
