There couldn’t be a more suitable guest than Traxx, as he is notorious for taking risks, not following rules but also for staying loyal to his beliefs, narrative and perspective and voicing them.
Known for his unique traveling through experimentation and genderless style, his aliases as Traxx, Dirty Criminals, XX Art, Mysterio, ViLLan X, Saturn V (with Tadd Mullinix), X2 with (D'Marc Cantu and JTC) are highlighting within the catalogues of labels such as Gigolo, Relief, L.I.E.S., Muzique, M/O/S, and Crème. In April of 2007 Traxx created his label Nation introducing a futuristic view on traditional jacking patterns
while re-evaluating his sound and perspective of dance music being released. Traxx was never short on voicing his opinions and beliefs and shy to express his musical influences and likings. His segments are full of storytelling and bravery where he leaves no room for anyone that wants to label him but to follow his curation and realize that what they are experiencing is unique and can’t be put into a stereotypical container of style. His recent work on Rush Hour as Mutant Beat Dance for the DEBUT (with Beau Wanzer and Steve Summers)
is a moment of true artistry for its representation in an album booklet consisting of six records in three different formats and its inclusion of a variety of genres that reflects to the band's statement on open mindedness.
Also featuring selections from our guest Matthew Paul and residents Tyrel Williams and Alex Ohyama *
