Gant Johnson came up out of Chicago into the NYC downtown scene. He Launched and lead parties from Flamingo East to STARSearch to Cock and Soul to Friday nights, serving shoulder to shoulder w Frankie at SoundFactory Bar. Johnson was Label boss with Will at Captivating Records and partner on the decks with Nita for TUBWAY, their out-of-control residency at MR. BLACK. Gant Johnson showed the way, DJ DAD to some, co conspirator to many and a STAR for us this month.
